Dave Hemstad. One of Canada's most sought after Comedians. Dave is a three-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee and TV Star. Born and raised in Thornhill Ontario, Dave has been performing for audiences around the globe since 2001. Dave's material is hilarious and clean. This is a family friendly show.

Highly sought after for his particular brand of humor that dissects our daily lives with lightning quick wit, Dave's humour is relatable and engaging. Admired by crowds and performers alike, Dave has the ability to read a room like no other and deliver his material with hilarious confidence.

In addition to his own half hour “Comedy Now” special on CTV and his 2 Gala performances at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, Dave has taped multiple appearances for both the Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy Festivals on CBC. Dave has many TV acting credits to his name (Flashpoint, Lost girl, DC titans, Bomb Girls, Off the Hozzle) and starred in the Showcase comedy series “Almost Heroes”. Dave is currently a regular on CBC’s smash hit The Debaters and a contributing writer on the CBC series “Still Standing” and the Canadian Screen Awards.
